Their wednesday's special, la porchetta sandwich, is probably the best sandwich in Boston. Can split it with someone else, or save the second half for later.

Great subs!! The bread is perfect and they know how to make an amazing Italian or meatball!! Pay cash and get a fantastic brownie or blondie. Great people too!!

Been living to try their buffalo chicken wrap and needless to say it followed through on the delivery and was my favorite buff chicken wrap I've had in Boston the past 10 years!
Also was given a free brownie at my visit for helping the staff momentarily- love it you can bribe me with brownies and buff chicken any day!!! -

In the realm of sandwich shops, Figaro's is on the higher end.
The sandwiches are simple, but put together with high quality ingredients. For example, instead of some generic sandwich roll, you'll get a hearty ciabatta. Instead of a regular mayonnaise, you might get a pesto mayonnaise.
My favorite is the Cha Cha... Imagine a big steak and cheese with some sharpness from red onion and a light tang from some honey mustard.
Be sure to get a blondie -- they're soft, chewy, sweet, and big enough to split between two people.
You can tell the staff loves to cook and loves working at Figaro's. They're making great food and having fun doing it. -

I walked over here for lunch and got a Critics Choice wrap without cheese. It had grilled chicken, roast peppers, tomatoes, and vinaigrette. The service time is a little slow - there were only two people ahead of me in the line to order, but it took over five minutes before it was my turn. The wrap was tasty and filling, and the chicken was quite juicy. And if you pay in cash, you get a free bag of Kettle chips or blondie/brownie.
So why only three stars? Well, Johnny, who seemed to be either the owner or the manager, was licking his finger before opening each plastic bag, and if that weren't gross enough already, he was using that same hand to serve the blondies and brownies - without a glove! Absolutely gross and such a violation of health codes. Not sure I trust this place's hygiene enough to give their food another try.
